CLASS "MT" REGISTRATION FEE
MT - Motor Toboggan
1. Registration Fee
A flat $110.00
non-proratable registration fee for each snowmobile registered in a "snowmobile year" to the same owner.
"Snowmobile Year" is defined as the period of time from July 1st of the current year to June 30th of the next year.
Consider the following examples:
-
If a customer registers a snowmobile for a full year, the
$110.00
registration fee is payable. Even though the registration
would carry into the next snowmobile season, another
$110.00
would not be payable until the customer renews the
registration in the following year.
-
If a customer registers a snowmobile from December 1st to the end of March of the next year, the
$110.00
registration fee is payable. Another
$110.00
would be payable when the owner re-registers the snowmobile in December of the following year.
-
If a customer registers a snowmobile for two short-term registration options in the same snowmobile year, the
$110.00
registration fee is paid once on that snowmobile registration.
-
If a customer has two different snowmobiles registered at the same time, the customer will pay a
$110.00
registration fee for each snowmobile registration.
-
If a customer registers one snowmobile and then later replaces it with another snowmobile in the same snowmobile
year, the customer will only pay the
$110.00
registration fee on the first snowmobile registration and not for the second
snowmobile registration (provided the two registration terms don't overlap).
